Our Story
From “I think” to “I know.”
Reacpaw began with one reactive dog and a lot of uncertainty. Despite working with a great trainer, I couldn’t tell if we were actually improving. Some days looked better, other days didn’t and my brain always defaulted to “it isn’t getting better.”
Out of frustration, I started tracking every outing in the iPhone Notes app: where we went, what we saw, how my dog reacted, how long it lasted, and what helped. After a few weeks, I could finally spot patterns certain streets were calmer, distances mattered, and time of day changed everything.
I looked for an app made for this exact problem and came up empty. Plenty of generic habit trackers, nothing built for the reality of reactive dogs and trainer collaboration. So I decided to build it. That’s how Reacpaw started: a straightforward way to log, review, and actually see progress.
What Reacpaw does differently
- Logs made for dog training (triggers, distance, duration, recovery, notes, photos).
- Clear trends so you can tell what’s improving and what needs work.
- Trainer tools that live alongside the owner’s logs, so everyone stays aligned.
Reacpaw is for the owners who want calm, predictable walks and for the trainers who want clients to actually see the progress they’re making. If that sounds like you, welcome.
